Medical Oncologist
Serene completed her training and was admitted to the Royal College of Physicians in Medical Oncology (RACP) in 2001. Subsequently, she also completed her MD with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. She specialises in breast and gynaecological cancers and has been working as a consultant Medical Oncologist at the Austin hospital as well as with Mercy Hospital for Women. She practises in private, both in East Melbourne as well as Box Hill, where she works within a multidisciplinary team network providing high quality care. She continues to actively participate/ contribute to clinical trials for breast and gynaecological cancers both in private and public settings, to improve outcomes for women with cancer
