Breast Surgeon

  

 

Christina is a Breast and Endocrine Surgeon who has undertaken extensive training in the field of Breast and Endocrine surgery. She attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008 having trained through the Austin Hospital, Melbourne. She has completed breast and endocrine surgery fellowships at some of the most prestigious and respected institutions worldwide including St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA and the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK.

Since returning to Melbourne in 2013 she has been appointed as a consultant breast and endocrine surgeon at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, Breastscreen Victoria and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Familial Cancer Clinic. She is a member of BreastSurg ANZ and the Australasian Society of Breast Disease and has a particular interest in the multi-disciplinary management of breast and endocrine cancers, familial breast cancer and surgeon-performed ultrasound. She consults and operates at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy and St Vincent’s Private Hospital East Melbourne.

Outside of work, Christina loves being outdoors with her husband and daughter, travelling, and spending time with extended family. She is also excited to be welcoming a new addition to the family in 2016!
